About The Position

Designers bring semiconductors to life by defining, developing and/or modifying analog and mixed signal electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry. They work with other designers and the broader R&D and demand creation teams to align on approaches and parameters for a given device, creating block level specifications for the designs. They take the designs through the concept, implementation in schematic and supervising layout, followed by tape out to the fab. They also support silicon validation, test, qualification for reliability, and finally ramp to mass production. Designers also conduct tests and analyze data to ensure the chosen methods are optimal for the defined specifications and reliability requirements.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 2.5 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

  • Defining, developing and/or modifying analog and mixed signal electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry.
  • Working with other designers and the broader R&D and demand creation teams to align on approaches and parameters for a given device.
  • Creating block level specifications for the designs.
  • Taking designs through concept, implementation in schematic and supervising layout, followed by tape out to the fab.
  • Supporting silicon validation, test, qualification for reliability, and ramp to mass production.
  • Conducting tests and analyzing data to ensure chosen methods are optimal for defined specifications and reliability requirements.
