About The Position

ProSidian Seeks a AMRP Project Controls/Project Management (PC/PM) Support Specialist (Full-Time) located in The Hanford Tri-Cities Area (Kennewick | Pasco | Richland) to support an engagement for the US Dept. of Energy (DOE) Hanford in Eastern Washington (Tri-Cities - Kennewick | Pasco | Richland) Area. The ProSidian Engagement Team Members work to provide General Support Services Contractor (GSSC) assistance to support DOE Hanford [which consists of Richland Operations Office (RL), and Office of River Protection (ORP)] in support of the Govt’s operations, personnel management, and general administration of regional operations at the Hanford Site in Richland, Washington. ProSidian Consulting's work includes supporting DOE requirements for consulting support, acquisition support, program/project management support, operational/administrative business support, and environmental consulting support. It is also ProSidian's duty to protect all classified information, special nuclear material, and other DOE property and work in accordance with DOE security regulations and requirements to maintain responsibility for protecting all classified information and all classified matter (including documents, material and special nuclear material) which are in every Engagement Team Member's possession and in connection with the performance of work under this contract against sabotage, espionage, loss or theft. AMRP PC-PM Support Candidates shall work to support requirements as a AMRP Project Controls/Project Management (PC/PM) Support Specialist and provide River And Plateau Project Controls/Management Support and project cost controls support related analysis services (excluding the RL-0011 Plutonium Finishing Plant project) for technical project document development, review, analysis, and coordination for the Richland Operations Office (RL) and the Assistant Manager for the River and Plateau (AMRP) Provide Project Management support to assist in ensuring compliance with project requirements to include: ---- Assist with monitoring and analyzing project performance using Earned Value Management principles to ensure project resources are being utilized effectively; ---- Integrate monthly variance analyses through workbook and meetings with input from The AMRP Project Controls/Project Management (PC/PM) Specialists and the RL Subject Matter Experts for inclusion in Project Analysis Reporting System 2 (PARS 2); ---- Support the respective FPDs in preparing for project reviews and/or other draft presentations to RL Management, Environmental Management – Headquarters (HQ) Management, etc.; ---- Maintain performance data files; ---- Assist with reviews of invoices, baseline submittals, and other contractor change packages; ---- Assist with baseline reviews, HQ Peer Reviews, and other reviews as required; includes recommendations and assessments of technical and non-technical project issues; ---- Assist with evaluation and review of statements of work and work scope strategy for appropriateness and accuracy; ---- Evaluate and review risks; risk register, and assure currency of risk report and risk management plan ---- Evaluate current schedule data and analyze the Critical Path schedules ---- Assist with integrated budget request and lifecycle planning. Provide scheduling support. ---- Recognize and report adverse trends to respective FPDs to help ensure baseline progress schedules are met. Provide support in review and analysis of Independent Government Estimates. Provide recommendations of evaluations to the FPDs. Provide other draft presentations related to the FPDs.

Requirements

  • The AMRP Project Controls/Project Management (PC/PM) Support Specialist shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years
  • Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/Power point) and related tools and technology required for the position
  • Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria
  • 8 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
  • Certification as a Project Management Professional or Certified Manager
  • Knowledge of Budgeting, Cost & Schedule Estimating, Contract and Baseline Performance
  • Expertise in Resource Planning & Allocation and Business Management Practices
  • Expertise in reporting systems including Integrated Planning, Accountability and Budgeting System, PARS 2, Project Execution Module and Hanford Data Integrator, and the WCH COBRA system or similar system
  • Experience in review of change packages, evaluation of cost estimates and assessment of supporting back-up documentation
  • Expertise in audits, evaluations and baseline change control
  • Expertise in Risk Identification, Mitigation, and Management
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • U.S. citizenship

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in project scheduling and cost engineering on a DOE project, preferred
  • Expertise related to Hanford’s River Corridor Area including deactivation, decontamination, decommissioning, and demolition of industrial and nuclear facilities, remediation of waste sites and burial grounds, and interim Safe Stabilization of Reactors, preferred
  • Expertise in Cobra Cost Processor, Crystal Reports and P3/P6, preferred
