About The Position

Oak Grove Technologies, LLC is seeking an Ammunition Technician to support operations at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Artesia, New Mexico. The role manages, inspects, inventories, stores, and disposes of ammunition while following applicable safety regulations, security protocols, and procedures. The technician supports operational readiness by maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring ammunition is available and safely stored.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of ammunition types, safety regulations, and inventory control practices.
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Proficiency with computer systems and inventory management software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical stamina to lift and move heavy ammunition boxes as required.
U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain necessary security clearances.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in ammunition management or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming ammunition shipments.
Perform inventory counts and maintain stock records using electronic systems.
Monitor ammunition usage, anticipate future needs, and request resupply when necessary.
Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and identify damaged or expired ammunition.
Follow security protocols and prevent unauthorized access to ammunition storage areas.
Generate reports on stock levels, usage, and discrepancies.
