About The Position

In this role, you will be part of a team empowered to solve complex problems and continually learn and develop new skills. You will work with a variety of systems and state-of-the-art equipment for a stable, growing, and dynamic company. The position is based at 1500 Brooks Ave, Rochester, NY 14603. Shifts may start as early as 6 a.m. and include morning, afternoon, and evening availability, including weekends. Applicants must be 18 years or older.

Requirements

At least 5 years of related work experience.
Strong computer skills, including the ability to interface with various building and control systems.
Must be 18 years or older.

Nice To Haves

Completion of EPA Universal Certification.
RSES, RETA, and/or OSHA training.
Refrigeration and/or steam license.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain timely records of work.
Interact and coordinate with maintenance vendors.
Work and communicate effectively with a team, assisting other personnel as necessary to ensure all tasks are completed safely and in a timely manner.
Understand and comply with food and human safety procedures while performing maintenance tasks.
Maintain Wegmans’ high standards of quality and customer service.
