Candidate will work as part of the broader regulatory compliance technology team that provides various enterprise wide compliance solutions such as AML & Sanctions Screening, KYC, Contract Management Workflow and AML-Transaction Monitoring. The person will improve the global client lifecycle with specific focus on enhancing the customer experience, optimizing end-to-end processes, improving controls, and increasing transparency. As a member of the implementation team, the candidate will introduce a streamlined client onboarding process that leverages ongoing Enterprise Data Governance and Management (EDGM) initiatives and creates rules-driven workflow with enhanced process controls to improve the client experience and to further State Street’s culture of operational risk excellence. The person will implement Unified Data Architecture, Big Data analytics, Data model design and Database development. Specific duties of the position include: - Working closely with business users, developers, and testers to implement application to support State Street’s enterprise regulatory compliance initiatives. - Designing, developing, and implementing database models and applications using Machine Learning (ML), Large Language Models (LLMs) and Agentic AI framework to improve AML case investigation efficiency, reduce false positives and strengthen AML regulatory compliance in State Street. - Identifying and building core re-useable functionality using AI-driven workflow orchestrations, tools, and services such as micro services based architecture. - Building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures and data sets for large and complex data sources; Leveraging hands-on experience with industry leading big data technologies such as Databricks, Spark, Kafka to handle large volume data and secure storage and provide data analytics capability. - Working with message queuing, stream processing (Stream Sets) and highly scalable data stores; Data modeling, Oracle, PL/SQL, Unix/Linux, Shell and Python to effectively store, manage and automate processes. - Interacting with third party vendors in solution implementation; and Working in a fast-paced agile environment and effectively collaborate across . - Working with multiple internal project stakeholders as well as infrastructure and support teams. - Telecommuting permitted pursuant to company policy. What you will be responsible for As an Architect, Development lead and technical leader you will: Be responsible for driving the implementation of vendor applications for AML and Sanctions Screening area. Work closely with the vendor IT professional services staff, and leads from other State Street applications interfacing with the Sanctions Screening applications. Work with the corporate architecture team in State Street to ensure that the solutions you build conform with corporate architectural standards and security controls. Be responsible for working with the production support teams in resolving production issues to ensure uninterrupted service to the business. Plan and drive deployments on weekends.
