About The Position
The candidate selected will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in the ATMC AMHS Equipment area. This includes maintaining, repairing, upgrading, and monitoring AMHS equipment such as PRI 7000 & Turbo Stockers, PRI Guardian Reticle Stockers, PRI Aerotrak systems, and Daifuku parts management systems. Tasks involve troubleshooting and repairing electrical/electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, performing scheduled maintenance, changing consumables, and other activities crucial for the area's success. The role also requires completing documentation and training others on equipment maintenance.
Requirements
- AS, AAS in electronics or other industrial engineering, or related is preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Specific knowledge of Maintenance job functions.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
- AA degree in Electronics or related discipline and 5 years technical maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with the Metrology/Defect area.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of both SPC and FDC.
- Ability to work to improve overall equipment performance based on SPC and FDC controls.
- Excellent interaction and communication with all Operations and Engineering personnel.
- Ability to interface with other internal and external groups to ensure all safety, performance, and reliability requirements are satisfied.
Responsibilities
- Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in the ATMC AMHS Equipment area.
- Maintaining, repairing, upgrading, and monitoring AMHS equipment including PRI 7000 & Turbo Stockers, PRI Guardian Reticle Stockers, PRI Aerotrak systems and Daifuku parts management systems.
- Troubleshooting and repair of electrical/electronic systems, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
- Performing scheduled maintenance and consumable changes.
- Completing documentation and training others on equipment maintenance.
- Communicating effectively using both written and verbal skills.
- Standing for long periods of time (up to 12 hours).
- Occasionally stooping and/or crawling in confined spaces.
- Lifting and carrying objects up to 50 pounds.
