ABOUT CIRCLE OF CARE Success, One Family at a Time. This is the vision of Circle of Care for Families and Children of Passaic County, Inc. We believe every child and family has strengths and the ability to succeed. Circle of Care is an independent nonprofit Care Management Organization (CMO) serving youth up to age 21 and their families throughout Passaic County. We support youth with complex behavioral health, mental health, substance use, intellectual, and developmental needs. Position Summary This is not a Circle of Care employment opportunity. We are partnering with AmeriCorps serve as a service site position. This opportunity may be used to fulfill required service hours for AmeriCorps members. Circle of Care for Families and Children of Passaic County seeks an AmeriCorps Community Health Navigation Member to support community outreach, youth wellness initiatives, resource navigation, and family engagement activities throughout Passaic County. The member will increase access to health, behavioral health, educational, and social service resources for youth and families while helping to strengthen organizational capacity and expand community engagement efforts. The member will serve as part of the AmeriCorps Healthy Communities Corps and support Youth Mental Health Corps priorities by promoting mental wellness, increasing awareness of available resources, supporting prevention and early intervention efforts, and connecting youth and families to community-based services. The member will engage in meaningful direct service activities that address community needs while developing professional skills in community engagement, program development, and health navigation.
