About The Position

Alcoa is seeking an Americas Network Team Lead to oversee the delivery, performance, and reliability of network services across the United States, Canada, and Brazil. Reporting to the Global Network Services Manager, this role is responsible for leading a team of network engineers and contractors while ensuring the successful execution of network operations, infrastructure projects, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a technical leader who thrives in complex enterprise and manufacturing environments and is passionate about delivering secure, reliable, and high-performing network services.

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years of experience in network engineering, network administration, or related infrastructure disciplines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Communications, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience leading technical teams and coordinating resources across multiple locations.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise networking technologies, including routing, switching, Wi-Fi, VPN, IP Voice, and network authentication.
  • Experience delivering large-scale network infrastructure projects and managing competing priorities.
  • Proven ability to support secure, resilient network environments and address cybersecurity-related challenges.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and vendor management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing, industrial, mining, or processing industry experience is highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery and operational performance of network services across the Americas region.
  • Ensure network services are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business and project priorities.
  • Coordinate infrastructure, application, business, and vendor teams to successfully execute network initiatives.
  • Support stable and reliable network operations, including major incident coordination and issue resolution.
  • Provide technical leadership across routing, switching, wireless networking, connectivity, and network security solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards, governance processes, and change management practices.
  • Coordinate vendor execution to support service delivery and project timelines
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts that enhance network reliability, operational efficiency, and service quality.
