The ASL Teacher is responsible for providing support to the instructional process by serving as a teacher with specific responsibility for supervising students within the classroom and other assigned areas. This includes developing lesson plans, delivering group and individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines, and collaborating with other teachers, professional staff, and administrators to address instructional and classroom issues. The teacher will also respond to inquiries from parents or guardians regarding the instructional program and student progress. This position may also teach another elective class within the licensure scope as assigned by the Principal.
