About The Position

LTC Language Solutions is seeking a professional and passionate American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter to join our team full-time in Indiana. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing language access across a variety of settings. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Interpreting Services: Provide high-quality, in-person ASL interpretation at various client locations in Indiana as needed for up to 40 hours per week Accurately interpret in various legal, medical and community settings. Demonstrate cultural competency and a strong understanding of Deaf culture. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professionalism at all times. Administration: Maintain a high level of communication with the Interpreting Manager and ASL team. When not at interpreting assignments, provide administrative support to the Interpreting Department including but not limited to scheduling, calls and inbox management. Develop a strong presence in the community for LTC by attending events, being involved in various networking groups, etc. Assist in organizing interpreter training and events

Requirements

• 3+ years of ASL interpreting experience
• Passionate about providing language access
• Adherence to the RID Interpreter Code of Ethics

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in American Sign Language
• NIC/IIC Certification
