About The Position

We are seeking a reliable American Sign Language (ASL) Instructor to support an after-school enrichment program. The ASL Instructor will lead a fun, engaging introduction to American Sign Language for elementary and middle school students. The instructor should be comfortable working with children and able to guide students through basic ASL signs, vocabulary, and simple conversations in an interactive learning environment.

Requirements

• Experience with American Sign Language (fluency or strong working knowledge preferred)
• Experience working with children in an educational, camp, or enrichment setting
• Reliable and able to step in when needed
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Passion for teaching and engaging with students
• American Sign Language: 4 years (Required)
• Teaching: 1 year (Required)
• Are you 18 or older? (Required)
• Ability to Commute: Annandale, VA 22003 (Required)

Responsibilities
