About The Position

Under nursing supervision, assists providers during patient visits. Performs a variety of clinical tasks in support of patient care in the out-patient setting including a variety of technical, procedural and information systems tasks involving patient care functions affecting the comfort, care and safety of patients.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year experience in customer focused service setting.
• At least 6 months of health care experience providing direct patient care and interaction with patients required.
• American Heart Association BLS CPR Certification or acquire within 6 months after hire.
• Ability to work collaboratively and courteously with others.
• Must demonstrate exceptional customer service skills with providers, staff, and patients.
• Must have well developed verbal and written communication skills.
• Must demonstrate exceptional care and concern for the patient.
• Must be attuned to the needs of a diverse population of patients.
• Ability to use various hospital information systems (which may include, eRecord, Microsoft Outlook, Word.
