About The Position

This is a part-time (0.5 FTE, 20 hours per week) position for an Ambulatory RN at the Linden Health Center. The role emphasizes health promotion and disease prevention, assisting patients and families through their episode of care. The nurse will delegate, oversee, and provide quality, safe, and developmentally appropriate patient care. The position is part-time benefits eligible and requires working Mondays and Thursdays from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, with some flexibility in hours. There is no weekend or holiday requirement. The starting pay is a minimum of $34.82 per hour, with compensation commensurate with experience.

Requirements

Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited school, required.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio, required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, required.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred.
Must successfully complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
Three years of pediatric clinical experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
Assesses individualized patient needs and plans, implements, educates, and evaluates care using Evidence-Based Practices.
Ensures clinic processes and workflows comply with regulatory and policy compliance.
Works closely with providers and other team members to ensure a smooth clinic flow, addressing patient/parent concerns and attaining positive patient and family outcomes.
Documents according to organizational standards, policies, and procedures.
Engages in the “workplace community” by staying aware of changes, participating in data collection or auditing, understanding Quality Improvement, and representing staff at relevant meetings and then reporting important information and updates back to staff.
