About The Position

This role is for an Ambulatory Registered Nurse with the Lankenau Heart Group- Cardio-Obstetrics team in Wynnewood, PA. The practice focuses on providing compassionate, coordinated care for patients with a wide range of heart and vascular needs. The Ambulatory RN will support patients through telephone triage, clinical assessment, medication management, education, and follow-up care. This RN will be an integral member of the Cardio-Obstetrics Clinic team, a specialized program for pregnant and postpartum patients with hypertensive disorders of pregnancy and other cardiovascular conditions. The RN will provide patient education, support individualized blood pressure management plans, and coordinate the postpartum remote blood pressure monitoring program. Collaboration with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary team members is essential for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and promoting positive maternal cardiovascular outcomes. The role involves working closely with cardiologists, advanced practice providers, medical assistants, and office staff to support efficient patient care in a busy ambulatory cardiology setting, assisting with care coordination, symptom calls, medication refills, anticoagulation support, test follow-up, and patient education related to cardiac conditions and treatment plans. Requirements

  • Current Pennsylvania RN license
  • Provider BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in an ambulatory cardiology, clinical nursing, specialty practice, or physician office setting.
  • Cardio OB experience preferred.
  • Strong telephone triage skills, including the ability to assess patient symptoms, provide appropriate guidance, and escalate concerns as needed.
  • Experience with medication refills, patient education, and follow-up related to cardiac testing, procedures, and treatment plans.
  • Knowledge of insurance information, prior authorization workflows, and coordination of care within an outpatient setting preferred.
