Ambulatory Reception Scheduler Coordinator
About The Position
Regions outpatient Rehab has an opportunity available for an individual with exceptional customer service skills to join our Neuroscience Center in an Ambulatory Reception Coordinator/Scheduler position. This role involves creating and maintaining a welcoming environment for all patients, visitors, and staff by providing exceptional customer service. The coordinator independently performs patient check-in, registration/insurance verification, appointment scheduling, providing patient directions, monitoring wait times, and acting as a patient advocate. Additionally, the position assists in supporting the Scheduling Coordinators by receiving incoming calls and scheduling Rehabilitation for all outpatient sites as needed. The work may vary in percentage of time per function, in location, and working schedule. Requirements
- Minimum 1 year previous clerical and/or customer service experience
Nice To Haves
- Two years post-secondary education in Healthcare or Business Administration
- Three to four years in a health care setting
Responsibilities
