About The Position

As the Pharmacy Technician, you assist pharmacists in completing applications, gathering patient information, and maintaining patient records. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a registered pharmacist and complete work for any ProMedica Pharmacy Medication Management site. The above summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed in this role. It should not be considered exhaustive.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Pharmacy Technician with Ohio Board of Pharmacy if working in Ohio.
• Licensed Pharmacy Technician with Michigan Board of Pharmacy if working in Michigan.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (either PTCB or ExCPT (NHA) exam permitted )

Nice To Haves

• Pharmacy Technician Training Program
• Experience as a pharmacy technician in an acute care hospital/ambulatory care
