About The Position

Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient assessments
  • Provide education
  • Manage triage
  • Coordinate care
  • Support special exams
  • Provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards
  • Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level
  • Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services
  • Assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities
