About The Position

The Ambulatory Nurse is a nursing staff position that reports to the Administrative Manager. This role performs treatments, administers medications, assists with procedures performed without anesthesia while utilizing aseptic technique, assists with employee education and orientation, and provides patient/family education with the goal of improving health outcomes. The nurse will involve family/significant others in planning health care and health decisions, delegate and evaluate health care to assistive personnel following the hospital plan for nursing, and recognize and advocate for each patient as an individual with health care needs. The position requires providing considerate, respectful care that affirms the patient’s right to make decisions regarding their medical care. Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited program of nursing
• Registered Nursing license in State of Ohio

• Commitment to obtain Bachelors of Science in Nursing within 5 years of hire
