About The Position

The Ambulatory Neurology Infusion Nurse RN is responsible for providing competent direct patient care based on established standards. This role contributes to unit activities and supports the enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. The nurse will support peers in the delivery of patient care services and may assume an expanded role including charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities. This position specializes in infusion care for patients with neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis and Myasthenia Gravis. The role involves administering intravenous and subcutaneous therapies, including monoclonal antibodies, while ensuring patient safety, clinical accuracy, and therapeutic support. The nurse will administer neuro-stabilizing infusions and monitor for adverse reactions, educate patients and families on treatment plans and symptom management, and collaborate with neurologists, NPs, and medical access staff to ensure coordinated care.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of professional nursing experience.
  • Strong IV and vascular access skills preferred.
