About The Position
The Internal Medicine Ambulatory Medical Education Scholar role (PGY-4) is designed for physicians who are interested in pursuing a career in academic medicine while practicing ambulatory medicine. This role provides experience within the clinical, teaching, and administrative spheres of academic ambulatory practice. This individual will work closely with GIM faculty, residents, and medical staff. They will serve as a mentor for residents in continuity clinic, facilitate educational activities, and lead efforts to improve the resident experience and patient care within the USF and TGH residency continuity clinic sites.
