Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years’ experience in a healthcare or healthcare IT-related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification as a Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Medical Assistant (MA), Certified Professional Coder (CPC).
  • Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Informatics or teaching/training experience.

Responsibilities

  • Plays a crucial role in the success of outpatient clinics by actively engaging in the planning, development, implementation, education, and training of clinical and operational documentation.
  • Enhances operational excellence by streamlining workflows and integrating evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes and meet organizational needs.
  • In system design and support, standardizes applications, resolves deficiencies, and collaborates effectively with IT, Clinical Operations, and market leaders.
  • Excels in issue resolution and maintains open communication throughout the process.
  • Involved in the evaluation and maintenance of clinical systems, providing consistent support in outpatient clinics to aid in clinical transformation and maximize the use of information technology.
  • In project management, prioritizes requests, helps develop electronic healthcare record platforms, and offers technical training and support to end users.
  • Keeps management informed about staff skills, resolves technical issues, and stays current with industry practices.
  • Provides call support, conducts clinical education, educates providers, implements process improvements, performs clinical observations, and adheres to organizational policies and procedures.
