About The Position
Xanitos is a specialist in Ambulatory Cleaning Services, providing professional cleaning services for medical office buildings, clinics, and outpatient surgery centers. The company aims to provide support as a comprehensive solution to ambulatory care by providing Safety, Quality, Compliance, and Trust. This role is for an Ambulatory Housekeeper at the St. Tammany Health System Surgery Center in Covington, LA.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required.
- Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the janitorial industry a plus
- Medical cleaning a plus
Responsibilities
- Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
- Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
- Sweeps and/or vacuums floor.
- Dusts furniture and equipment.
- Polishes metalwork.
- Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
- Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empties wastebaskets.
- Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
- Replenishes bathroom supplies.
- Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to all client locations.
