About The Position

Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, offering a multitude of care options to the communities they serve. These clinics encompass over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, providing opportunities for staff to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. The Ambulatory Clinical Technician acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Provider or Registered Nurse (RN). This role involves assisting in the examination and treatment of patients to facilitate clinic flow and provide excellent patient care. The technician performs basic skills according to department guidelines and policies and communicates observations to members of the health care team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days

Responsibilities

• Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Provider or Registered Nurse (RN)
• Assists in the examination and treatment of patients to facilitate clinic flow and provide excellent patient care
• Performs basic skills per department guidelines and policies
• Communicates observations to members of the health care team
• Rooms patients
• Collects vitals
• Assists in minor office procedures
• Performs EPIC In basket work
• Processes FMLA and short-term Disability work
• Answers phones
