About The Position

We are a Primary Health Care office that aspires to provide continuous, comprehensive, and coordinated care that is accessible and meets the health needs of infants, child, adolescent to young adults, and the adult population, by providing family-centered care. Our clinic operations are Monday through Thursday, ranging from 6:45am to 7:00pm and Friday 6:45am-5pm to accommodate the needs of parents and patients' diverse schedules. No Weekends/Holidays! We have a wonderful team and a great culture. We are looking for someone dependable, committed, hardworking, and truly likes to be a part of a team. Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days

Responsibilities

• Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Provider or Registered Nurse (RN) in the examination and treatment of patients to facilitate clinic flow and provide excellent patient care.
• Performs basic skills per department guidelines and policies; communicate observations to members of the health care team.
• Rooming patients, collecting vitals, and assisting in minor office procedures.
• EPIC In basket work.
• Processing FMLA and short-term Disability work.
• Answering phones.
