About The Position

ICCB Primary Care Clinic is the largest primary care practice within the medical group, serving approximately 300 patients each day. The clinic provides comprehensive family medicine, internal medicine, and pediatric care. Medical Assistants joining our team are expected to be proficient in both clinical and clerical responsibilities, including administering adult and pediatric immunizations. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days

Responsibilities

  • Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Provider or Registered Nurse (RN) in the examination and treatment of patients to facilitate clinic flow and provide excellent patient care.
  • Performs basic skills per department guidelines and policies; communicate observations to members of the health care team.
  • Rooming patients, collecting vitals, and assisting in minor office procedures.
  • EPIC In basket work.
  • Processing FMLA and short-term Disability work.
  • Answering phones.
