About The Position

This position requires travel between our Zeeland and Holland locations. Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, offering a wide range of care options. With over 40 types of primary care and specialty practices, employees have opportunities to learn, explore interests, or specialize. The role involves acting as a team member in delivering quality patient care under the supervision of a Provider or Registered Nurse (RN) during patient examinations and treatments to ensure efficient clinic flow and excellent patient care. This includes performing basic skills according to department guidelines and policies, communicating observations to the healthcare team, rooming patients, collecting vital signs, and assisting with minor office procedures. Additional duties include in-basket work in EPIC, processing FMLA and short-term disability paperwork, and answering phones.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days

Responsibilities

• Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Provider or Registered Nurse (RN) in the examination and treatment of patients to facilitate clinic flow and provide excellent patient care.
• Performs basic skills per department guidelines and policies; communicate observations to members of the health care team.
• Rooming patients, collecting vitals, and assisting in minor office procedures.
• EPIC In basket work.
• Processing FMLA and short-term Disability work.
• Answering phones.
