About The Position

Our ENT clinic, known as an otolaryngology clinic, specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of conditions affecting the ears, nose, throat, and related areas of the head and neck. These specialists, also called otolaryngologists, diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, from common issues like allergies and ear infections to more complex conditions like hearing loss, sinus problems, and thyroid diseases. The office also sees Pediatric complex airway patients. Treating from Pediatric to Geriatrics. We do minor procedures in the office and utilize advanced diagnostic tools in clinic like endoscopy, hearing tests and imaging techniques to accurately diagnose medical conditions. Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days

Responsibilities

• Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Provider or Registered Nurse (RN) in the examination and treatment of patients to facilitate clinic flow and provide excellent patient care.
• Performs basic skills per department guidelines and policies; communicate observations to members of the health care team.
• Rooming patients, collecting vitals, and assisting in minor office procedures.
• EPIC In basket work.
• Processing FMLA and short-term Disability work.
• Answering phones.
