This full-time, first shift position, Monday through Friday, supports the Rehab Services (PT/OT/SLP) service line in both the IL & WI Divisions. The role serves as a subject matter expert for the EHR, providing in-depth support to clinicians in the ambulatory setting and acting as a liaison between clinicians, operational leadership, and IT. The associate will troubleshoot EHR issues, support new technology implementations, and collaborate with CI and IT teams to address technical challenges. This role also involves developing expertise in specific EHR areas, managing change related to technology adoption, and providing end-user support to improve the effectiveness of new technologies and processes. Additionally, the associate will assist with basic reporting, participate in efforts to reduce administrative burden through enhanced decision support tools and data-driven decisions, and begin to leverage clinical data analytics for insights. The position supports optimal use of clinical systems and documentation practices, ensuring successful implementation and administration of clinical applications. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key to reimagining clinical processes and enhancing patient care, teammate satisfaction, safety, and outcomes. The associate will analyze clinical workflows, implement workflow enhancements, and collaborate with CI teams across care settings for efficient system utilization. Direct user support, purposeful rounding, and acting as a primary resource for EHR and clinical system questions are also core functions. The role partners with the informatics training and education team for training delivery, provides informal guidance to new team members, and assists in evaluating training effectiveness. Understanding user pain points and technology needs, assisting with clinician onboarding, and personalizing system settings are also part of the role. The associate will provide ongoing education and training, recommend additional training needs, and assist in delivering virtual training sessions and developing training materials. Basic troubleshooting and escalation are required, along with identifying opportunities for process optimization and supporting system upgrades. The role emphasizes promoting adherence to recommended workflows and educating end users on best practices. The associate will also participate in testing new or enhanced clinical workflows and developing key partnerships with site and area leaders. Finally, the role involves assisting in the analysis and design of EHR configurations to support organizational initiatives and ensure end-user needs are met, focusing on standardized best practices for quality and patient safety. The associate will also assist in identifying metrics to monitor project effectiveness.
