About The Position
The Multidisciplinary Trauma Clinic supports West Michigan’s only Level One Trauma Center, providing coordinated follow-up care for patients recovering from traumatic injuries. Our multidisciplinary team includes Burn, Orthopedic Trauma, Acute Care Surgery, and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation specialists, offering comprehensive care, nurse navigation, social work support, an Amputation Clinic, and on-site X-ray services, all in one location. Our clinic offers a fast-paced, team-oriented environment focused on collaboration, compassion, and exceptional patient care. Team members gain exposure to a variety of specialties and patient populations while benefiting from opportunities for professional growth, skill development, and meaningful patient interactions. Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent Required
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days
Nice To Haves
- 2 years of Insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, lab service support experience
- 2 years of clinical care experience
Responsibilities
- Serve in a clinical and clerical role.
- Deliver quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider.
- Provide clerical support in complex matters to assist in the delivery of value-driven health care services.
