About The Position

This team member will serve in a clinical and clerical role within the Transplant, Cellular Therapy, and Hematology department. They will deliver quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider, and also provide clerical support in complex matters to assist in the delivery of value-driven health care services. The department sees adult patients at Lemmen Holton Cancer Pavilion diagnosed with hematologic disorders, both malignant and benign. The BMT side of the department sees patients undergoing Allo and Auto stem cell transplants as well as CAR-T therapy. The hematology side sees patients with various malignant and benign hematology disorders. The team is described as very team-oriented, fostering a strong culture of teamwork and open communication, encouraging team members to bring forth issues and solutions. Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, offering diverse care options and opportunities for learning and specialization.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of Insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, lab service support experience
• 2 years of clinical care experience
