The Ambulatory Care Nurse participates in quality and performance improvement activities, systematically collects patient healthcare data, and collaborates with licensed providers to develop patient-centered care plans. Responsibilities include administering treatments and medications, monitoring for adverse events, providing disease prevention guidance, rehabilitation care, public health services, and supportive care for symptom relief, including health teaching and counseling.
