Anaheim Fire & Rescue (AF&R) seeks Ambulance Operators – Licensed Paramedic to provide emergency ambulance transport services, ALS and BLS assistance during medical response calls and standby events. Ambulance Operators (AO) – Licensed Paramedics will safely drive an ambulance and other vehicles during emergency and non-emergency situations while working with other AF&R paramedics providing assistance to other AF&R staff as needed. The city seeks career-minded individuals with long-term interest in becoming Firefighter Paramedics with the Anaheim Fire & Rescue Department. Paramedic Pay Incentive: Candidates with a valid California State Paramedic License can receive an additional $4.75 per hour for hours worked in a paramedic role. Please note, all Ambulance Operators are hired as part-time. Full-time opportunities may be available immediately following the Anaheim AO Academy and/or throughout the 3-year term.
