About The Position

The Ambassador Services Coordinator supports the Ambassador team at Sesame Place San Diego, helping prepare new team members for their first day and managing uniform and related inventory services. The role includes creating name tags, issuing employee ID badges, coordinating participation in new-hire orientation, communicating and assisting with issuance of Ambassador perks, and handling uniform distribution and inventory tasks. The position is part-time and pays $16.90 per hour.

Requirements

One or more years of customer service experience.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Microsoft Office proficiency and ability to learn new computer systems.
Ability to multitask and adapt to changes in a fast-paced work environment.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Scheduling flexibility.
Ability to stand for the entire shift.
Ability to push or pull at least 35 pounds and lift up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable with heights.

State driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

Welcome new Ambassadors and prepare them for their first day.
Create name tags and issue employee ID badges.
Coordinate new Ambassadors’ participation in orientation.
Communicate and assist with issuance of Ambassador perks.
Complete paperwork for loans of additional uniforms to Ambassadors.
Receive, sort, and stock new items using the inventory management system.
Stock shelves and workstations.
Distribute, exchange, and replace Ambassador uniforms.
Maintain spreadsheets tracking charges for lost uniforms, name tags, and ID cards.
