About The Position

This is a 100% remote position for an Amazon Connect Engineer specializing in IVR/VRU. The role involves designing, implementing, and troubleshooting voice applications and contact center workflows using various AWS services. The engineer will be responsible for developing inbound and outbound voice call workflows, contact routing, and call flow orchestration. Programming in Python and/or Node.js, RESTful API development, and working with JSON and AWS SDK are key aspects of this role. Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is also required. Responsibilities

Design and implement IVR/VRU solutions using Amazon Connect.
Develop inbound and outbound voice call workflows.

Utilize AWS services such as Amazon Pinpoint, AWS Lambda, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon API Gateway, Amazon SQS, Amazon SNS, Amazon EventBridge, AWS IAM, Amazon CloudWatch, and AWS Secrets Manager.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or Terraform.
Manage code using Git and implement CI/CD pipelines.
Potentially use AI-assisted development tools like Devin AI.
