About The Position

If you’ve owned a large Amazon P&L and know how to turn data into profitable growth, this role gives you full channel responsibility. We are a fast-moving consumer products company with an established marketplace presence. We are looking for a hands-on Amazon Channel Head who can scale revenue, protect margin, and build a disciplined, high-performing team. About the Role You will lead the entire Amazon channel with direct accountability for sales, profitability, advertising performance, inventory health, and account compliance. This is not a “monitor the agency” role. You will be deep in Seller and Vendor Central, reviewing dashboards, adjusting strategy, and coaching Brand Managers daily. You will manage a team of five and ensure each product line hits its growth and margin targets. This role requires strategic thinking and operational control.

Requirements

  • Direct Amazon P&L ownership with measurable revenue and margin growth
  • Hands-on experience in Seller Central and Vendor Central
  • Leadership experience managing 5+ direct reports
  • Strong command of Amazon advertising and listing optimization
  • Proven track record improving profitability while scaling revenue

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing multi-brand or multi-SKU portfolios
  • Strong forecasting and inventory planning background
  • Experience navigating complex compliance or reinstatement situations
  • Exposure to additional marketplaces beyond Amazon

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute the Amazon growth plan aligned to revenue and margin targets
  • Identify expansion opportunities across SKUs, categories, bundles, and promotions
  • Drive new product launches with structured go-to-market plans
  • Full ownership of Amazon P&L including revenue, contribution margin, fees, and ad spend
  • Monitor TACOS, ACOS, and contribution margin by SKU
  • Adjust pricing, promotions, and spend to protect profitability
  • Lead and develop 5 Brand Managers
  • Set clear KPIs and performance standards
  • Conduct regular business reviews and hold the team accountable
  • Oversee PPC and DSP strategy
  • Ensure listings are fully optimized for keywords, conversion, and compliance
  • Improve A+ content, video, and Brand Store performance
  • Maintain strong in-stock rates while preventing overstock
  • Coordinate closely with supply chain on forecasting and replenishment
  • Prevent stranded inventory and aged stock
  • Maintain clean listings, variations, and backend accuracy
  • Monitor account health, performance notifications, and policy changes
  • Develop appeal plans and long-term prevention strategies
  • Build performance dashboards tracking revenue, margin, ad efficiency, and inventory
  • Use Brand Analytics and Search Query data to inform optimization decisions
  • Identify risks early and adjust strategy proactively
