The duties of the Inventory Commodity Clerk include but are not limited to running accurate production numbers and communicating with the commodity manager with any inbound and quality concerns on product. This role is primarily in a production floor and warehouse environment within a manufacturing or food processing facility. Work may involve exposure to noise, machinery, refrigeration/cold storage, or other industrial conditions. Standard shifts may apply, but overtime or flexible hours may be required during high production periods or inventory counts. Frequent interaction with production staff, warehouse personnel, and procurement teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, particularly during inventory audits or commodity tracking. Must adhere to safety regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and company policies. Exposure to product fumes such as onions, peppers, etc., varying temperatures of 45 degrees above/below, and chemicals such as PAA, chlorine, etc.
