About The Position

The AM Pool Technician works at The Wigwam, a 331-room, 440-acre resort in Litchfield Park, Arizona. The position performs a variety of maintenance trade functions involving installation, upkeep, and repair of equipment and resort facilities, including HVAC, painting, wall repair, tile work, and preventative maintenance. The technician works with other team members to support resort operations and contribute to a positive guest experience.

Requirements

• Experience working in a maintenance role at a hotel or resort.
• Knowledge of household repairs, including carpentry, electrical, and plumbing work.
• Engaging and welcoming personality.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for creating an exceptional guest experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, and push or pull throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance of building and facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Perform general electrical repairs on appliances, house wiring, air conditioning systems, switches, fixtures, and motors.
• Repair plumbing fixtures, piping, drains, and sanitary systems.
• Repair woodwork, wall vinyl, doors, windows, carpeting, and similar items.
• Perform general mechanical maintenance on pumps, compressors, water heaters, automotive equipment, and other miscellaneous equipment.
• Maintain required records and logs of completed tasks, prepare reports as requested, and submit reports and logs on time.
• Support upkeep of the resort's preventative maintenance program.
