About The Position

This position involves completing opening and closing duties, which include setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and areas, and securing the premises. The attendant will set up, stock, and maintain work areas, input orders, and collect payments using a cash register system. Responsibilities also include taking orders, recording them in the MICROS system, and preparing food and coffee beverages. The role requires ensuring appliances are turned on/off appropriately, bussing coffee cart areas and tables, and cleaning dishes, utensils, work areas, tables, and equipment throughout the day. Additionally, the attendant must obtain the necessary change for business operations, count the bank at the end of the shift, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, submit receipts, and secure the bank. The position also mandates adherence to all company and safety/security policies and procedures, reporting accidents and unsafe conditions, and completing safety training. Maintaining a clean and professional appearance, protecting company assets, and providing excellent guest service are crucial. This includes welcoming guests, anticipating and addressing their needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and thanking them with appreciation. Effective communication, positive working relationships, and adherence to quality standards are expected. The role requires the ability to read and visually verify information, inspect tools and equipment, and perform tasks involving standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods. It also involves moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, manipulating objects with fine motor skills, and navigating narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, including stairs and service ramps. Reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping are also part of the job duties, along with performing other reasonable tasks as requested by supervisors.

Responsibilities

Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.
Set up, stock, and maintain work areas.
Input orders into cash register system and collect payment from customer.
Take orders, record in MICROS system and prepare food and coffee beverages.
Ensure that appliances (e.g., coffee makers) are turned on/off at the appropriate times.
Bus coffee cart areas and tables.
Clean dishes, utensils, work areas, tables and equipment throughout the day.
Obtain change required for expected business level.
Count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
