About The Position

This role involves loading and unloading trucks, managing inventory, and performing various warehouse tasks. The work is routine and follows established procedures, with instructions provided for new or unusual assignments. Responsibilities include building and staging pallets, operating a forklift, supplying production lines, and maintaining equipment records.

Requirements

Working knowledge of inventory control and warehousing procedures.
Skill in simple computations.
Ability to comprehend procedures.
Good physical health.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Frequent reach above shoulders.
Frequent lifting of 40-100 lbs.
Some experience or knowledge of material handling.
Must be able to pass Forklift Driving Skills test to currently possess Forklift Driving Certificate.
Must be able to work a 9-12 hour shift if necessary.

Responsibilities

Load trucks as ordered by drivers.
Unload, sort, and rebuild pallets as needed.
Assist with maintenance of the pallet yard.
Move, unload, stack, and store a variety of product/material in the warehouse.
Load and unload transport and route trucks as required.
Build pallets of product accurately according to pick ticket for loading.
Complete various tasks throughout the warehouse using both forklift and manual labor.
Build load: Drive electric pallet jack to picking area and build pallet, Mark load ticket for out of stock items.
Finish load: Wrap pallet when complete, Turn in paper work with order for check before loading Stage pallet and/or load into truck when ready.
Retrieve product and load truck according to load sheet; have truck checked.
Clean up: Complete partial pallets and put away mixed pallets, Maintain proper housekeeping standards in work area.
Operate a forklift in a safe and orderly manner.
Supply production lines with raw materials daily as required.
Maintain records of daily check list (forklift pre-trip inspections).
Special utility projects.
Any duties deemed necessary by management.
