About The Position
The AM Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment, and managing trash and recycling. This role is crucial for ensuring a smooth and hygienic operation of the kitchen. Friday Harbor House is located in the bustling island seaport of Friday Harbor on San Juan Island, offering spectacular views of the marina, San Juan Channel, and Mount Constitution. Surrounded by charming shops, galleries, and restaurants, it is ideally located near the ferry landing. The restaurant at Friday Harbor House showcases seasonal Island dining with fresh fare from local waters and farms.
Requirements
- Must be flexible and able to work under pressure
- Necessary State Food Handler’s License(s)
Responsibilities
- Washes china, glass, flatware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils
- Maintains the cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and of the cleaning supplies
- Remove trash, compost, and recycle to appropriate receptacles
