About The Position
The Courtyard by Marriott, situated on CMU’s campus, is seeking a part-time Bistro Attendant/Barista to support morning dining services at their on-site restaurant. Requirements
- Communication both verbal and written
- Dependable and customer-focused
- Time management and problem-solving skills
- Satisfactory criminal background screening required
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to walk, kneel, stoop, bend
- Lift up to 50 pounds
Nice To Haves
- Hotel experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Promote and ensure guest satisfaction
- Money handling/accounting
- Basic cleaning duties to maintain bistro and kitchen area
- AM service includes barista and coffee bar duties, which include crafting coffee beverages for guests.
- Prepare and present food to guests’ expectations
- Safe food handling
