About The Position

Solace Hospitality Management is building something on Milwaukee’s East Side. Smokin’ Jack’s BBQ on Murray Ave has 30 taps, an extensive bourbon list and beer towers, and we’re opening for lunch. We need a daytime bartender who can help grow the business.

Requirements

• Bartending experience
• Must have experience with social media and promotions
• Friendly, high energy, and great at building regulars
• Reliable and available for daytime shifts, including some weekends
• Responsible Beverage Server certification, or willing to obtain it

Responsibilities

• Open the bar and run bar service through lunch and afternoon
• Serve guests at the bar and support the dining room
• Promote lunch specials, happy hour and events to every guest
• Create and post content for the bar on social media: drinks, specials and daily features
• Help build a regular lunch and after-work crowd
• Handle opening setup, stocking, cash handling and cleanliness
