About The Position

The Aluminum Welder position requires the ability to set up welding machines and equipment (both MIG and TIG), read and interpret blueprints to understand product specifications, and perform welding, cutting, grinding, and finishing of metal products. The role also involves inspecting work for accuracy and quality.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields
• Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to read shop drawings and follow verbal instructions
• At least one year of experience welding with aluminum

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
• Install and repair various equipment and components
• Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
• Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance
• May operate other machinery; such as forklift
• Other duties as assigned
