About The Position

The Aluminum Welder is responsible for performing weld preparation, welding, and finishing operations to manufacture high-quality products based on customer drawings and specifications. This role requires precision, strong technical skills, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 5+ years of experience with aluminum welding and related processes
• Proficiency in TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Experience completing inspections and maintaining accurate records
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Strong understanding of welding safety practices and procedures
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Perform aluminum welding using TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) processes
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols
• Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, and fitting components prior to welding
• Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools safely
• Repair damaged aluminum parts and structures
• Follow OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols
• Collaborate with team members, fabricators, and supervisors to complete projects efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Participate in safety training and report any safety concerns
• Perform other duties as assigned
