About The Position

The Door Fabricator is responsible for assembling doors according to provided designs, attaching hardware, and performing lock preparations using various tools including drills. Key aspects of the role include maintaining a neat, safe, clean, and hazard-free work area, inspecting products for abnormalities, and cleaning tools and equipment daily. The position requires a safety-first mindset, results-driven approach, and the ability to work as part of a team. The successful candidate must be willing to be cross-trained and move to other areas as needed. Initial training for this role will require travel to Miami and/or Atlanta for one week.

  • Must be able to follow instructions from Supervisor, Plant Manager and Branch Manager

Responsibilities

  • Assemble doors based on provided designs stock using drills, and other tools.
  • Attaches hardware and lock preparations as appropriate.
  • Keeps work area in a neat, safe, clean, hazard free condition.
  • Cleans work area, tools, and equipment at the end of each day.
  • Inspects products for any abnormalities and notifies supervisor immediately of any issues.
  • Must be willing to be cross-trained and move to other areas when needed.
  • Work as part of a team.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
