About The Position

This is a full-time seasonal role for Spring/Summer 2026, based at the remote Columbia Icefield in Jasper National Park. It is an on-site living position, located 100 km from Jasper, surrounded by stunning glacier views and mountain adventure. The role is part of a destination that includes the Glacier View Lodge, dining outlets, retail, and the Glacier Adventure and Skywalk. Staff live on-site with provided accommodations and three hot meals per day. Requirements

1-2 years bartending/cocktailing experience in high volume bar/restaurant setting
Hold applicable Provincial (ProServe/Serving it Right) credentials
Work ethic and commitment to the team and guest is key
Willing and able to work solo or as part of a team
An active listener and the ability to tell stories to guests
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple tasks at once
Ability to anticipate guest needs
Physically able to complete the duties required
Calm demeanor with conflict resolution skills
Committed to Safety First and the highest quality of cleaning & sanitizing standards

Responsibilities

Serve guests in a welcoming, timely, and efficient manner
Handle cash, credit, and room charge payments making nightly deposits
Daily stock and clean the bar/lounge area
Maintain strong knowledge of menus, local beer, wine, spirits and culinary specials
Craft specialty cocktails using local & regional Spirits and pour local beer and wine
Assists in the welcoming, bussing, and serving of guests in the lounge, dining room, and lobby as needed
Listen to guest concerns and resolve issues to the best of your ability
Follow federal, provincial, and company policies/regulations for serving alcoholic beverages in a responsible manner
Keep record of potential safety and maintenance issues and communicate details to Management
Assist as needed with set up of rooms for special events, meetings, conferences and banquets
Offer assistance to guests and teammates where needed
Perform other duties as requested by Management
