About The Position

Goddard Public Schools has an opening for an Alternative Education Support Para at Goddard Academy. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, working with students, and being part of a team where each day may look a little different. The primary focus of the position is providing instructional and student support while also assisting in other areas of the school as needs arise.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to meet Kansas State Board of Education requirements for paraprofessionals

Responsibilities

• Providing individual and small-group academic support
• Assisting students with virtual coursework
• Supervising students in In-School Suspension (ISS)
• Supporting student supervision throughout the school day
• Assisting with daily school operations
• Assisting with library/media functions
• Assisting with school communications
• Assisting with technology
• Assisting with attendance and student records
• Assisting with school events
• Other duties as assigned
