Teach, Lead, Inspire! Be an educator in Albemarle County Public Schools. The Center for Learning and Growth is the location of Albemarle County Public Schools alternative learning program. The program is facilitated by teachers who provide FOCUS (Flexible, Optimal, Customized, Understanding and Strategic) educational services. The staff provide a specialized short-term intervention for students requiring alternative placement in grades 6-12. Albemarle County Public Schools works together as a team to end the predictive value of race, class, gender, and special capacities for our children’s success through high-quality teaching and learning for all.
