About The Position

Blue Owl’s Credit Secondaries team within the Alternative Credit division is hiring investment professionals at the analyst or associate level. The team invests primarily in GP-led and LP-led credit secondaries, NAV lending, and other credit-oriented opportunities in the fund solutions space. The strategy draws on the firm’s sourcing network and asset-based expertise to underwrite complex investments. The role may also involve other corporate or asset-based transactions across the opportunistic credit business, but its primary focus is credit secondaries.

Requirements

• 1–3+ years of lending or credit underwriting experience, or a focus on credit-related transactions within secondaries.
• 1–3+ years of experience in a buy-side investment role or an investment banking team focused on credit secondaries.
• Strong quantitative skills, including proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
• Experience with and interest in working on a high-functioning team.
• Relationship-oriented.
• Ability to leverage AI as a tool to drive efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work on multiple transactions simultaneously across all stages of the investment process, including structuring, investment committee, and ongoing relationship and asset management.
• Develop financial models.
• Conduct due diligence.
• Participate in the legal documentation process, including preparing term sheets and negotiating key terms.
• Manage the overall transaction process in partnership with senior investment professionals.
