We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Alternate Technical Project Manager to support the successful delivery of a Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) program for a federal government client. This role serves as a key member of the program leadership team, working closely with the Program Manager to ensure operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery of contract requirements. The Alternate Project Manager will help coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project activities, and ensure program objectives are achieved in support of critical housing initiatives administered through the FHA HECM program. This position is ideal for an experienced project management professional who thrives in complex, mission-focused environments and is passionate about delivering high-impact solutions for federal clients.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, including at least 3 years of professional experience in: Information Technology, Information Management, Business Management, Or a related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in good standing with the Project Management Institute (PMI).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of FHA Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) regulations.
  • Experience supporting the delivery of business services to the federal government, including SaaS or Information-as-a-Service environments.
  • Proven ability to lead multifunctional teams and coordinate complex project activities.
  • Experience supporting large-scale government projects and ensuring contract requirements are met on schedule and within budget.
  • Strong leadership skills including guiding staff, assigning tasks, and ensuring completion of projects and subprojects.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Program Manager in the oversight and execution of a federal HECM program.
  • Assist in managing project schedules, deliverables, and performance metrics to ensure contract requirements are met on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate and lead multifunctional teams including technical, operational, and professional staff.
  • Oversee the execution of medium to large-scale government projects and subprojects related to HECM program services.
  • Assign tasks and priorities to team members while ensuring project objectives and milestones are achieved.
  • Provide guidance and direction to staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality deliverables.
  • Support program reporting, performance monitoring, and risk management activities.
  • Ensure compliance with FHA Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) regulations and federal program requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal leadership to maintain alignment with program goals.
  • Assist in delivering technology-enabled business services, including Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) or Information-as-a-Service (IaaS) solutions for federal clients.
